The School Day

Timings

The school day runs from 08:45 am – 3:15 pm Monday to Friday providing the statutory amount of hours (32.5) for school to be open. 

Drop-Off

The front gate and back gate open promptly each morning at 08:30 am and these entrances are then closed promptly at 08:40 am.

These entrances are manned by school staff, allowing children to enter the school safely and to settle into the school environment. A member of staff will welcome children onto the school site.

Fostering Independence

Children from Year 1 to Year 6 will enter and walk to their classrooms independently.  Children in Nursery and reception will be accompanied by their parents to the classrooms. 

Registration

The official school day starts at 08:45 am. This is when children are expected to be in their class and ready for learning.

If children arrive after the gates have closed, they must come in to school via the office. If students arrive after 08:45 am, they will receive a late mark.
